Obese Teens and Kids: The Disturbing Trend

A research has found that the number of obese adults besides obese teens and kids contracting diabetes and other critical ailments has been rising in the last couple of years. Approximately, one-third of children and two-thirds of adults in the U.S.A are now either overweight or obese.

This unhealthy trend is primarily because they have not been able to understand that their extra pounds were abnormal accumulation of excess fats in their bodies – a situation termed as obesity. In other words, they have not kept a tab on their BMI. The weights of their bodies have also risen quite in variance to their ages and heights. They have thus become obese. As a result, they have failed to use the full potential of their energy level; life has slowed down and lethargy has lead to frustration finally.
